Greeting Scavengers!

We just released a new update to fix several issues and bugs within the pre-alpha playtest.

1. Performance Changes

  • We implemented a fix that improves client performance when spawning in crowded areas.
  • Reduced the number of Raiders in the Collapse Office Building to address FPS drops when entering the area.

2. Balance Changes

  • Using a skill to remove a debuff will now trigger a 3-second immunity window, so that characters cannot be affected by the same debuff again within that timeframe.
    • Dev Comments: Previously, this immunity window only worked when an applied debuff expired.

3. Bugfixes

  • Fixed a bug with harvestable spots not respawning correctly in the world.
  • Fixed a bug where the safehouse portals in Legacy and the Thatcher Stronghold were not working correctly.
  • Fixed a bug where items could not be moved automatically into the character’s backpack via “right-click” or “loot all (F)”, even when there was still enough space in the inventory.
  • Fixed a bug where backpacks with 4+ extra inventory slots could not be unequipped with right-click.
  • Fixed a bug where characters could become stuck when harvesting electrical boxes.
  • Fixed a bug where characters could become stuck in the container wall at the North East Entrance of the Junction Stronghold.
  • Fixed a bug where (very) old pre-alpha accounts were not migrated correctly and could not log in as expected.
