Today’s new pre-alpha update includes content changes and bugfixes based on community feedback/reports from the latest playtest.
1. Content Changes
- Adjusted the position of the NPC Charlie Hobson in the Junction Stronghold.
- Dev Comments: She no longer walks around as much and is now easier to find.
2. Other Changes
- Added additional loot filter options for improvable and augmented items when using “Loot All.”
- Optimized the camera position for player characters when entering the world.
- Added an automatic chat spam protection system that applies a temporary chat block to players who spam the in-game chat within a short period of time.
- Dev Comments: This system will automatically extend the chat penalty if a player receives another “strike” within a specific timeframe. Party, guild, and system chat channels are excluded.
- Improved the playability of the following areas: Junction Commercial Center and the Storm Drain area (near Legacy Stronghold).
- Updated auction house filters for wrists and backpacks. These items should now be displayed in the correct categories.
- Removed unwalkable stairs near Blackhand Stronghold.
3. Bugfixes
- Fixed multiple bugs in the character creation editor.
- Fixed a bug where characters could not close the mailbox while holding an item in their hand.
- Fixed a bug where the skill bar could not be used if an item remained in hand when closing the inventory.
- Fixed a bug where player characters could become stuck when re-logging during the tutorial.
- Fixed a bug where player characters could become stuck in the tutorial when entering the world without their crafted weapon.
- Fixed a bug where upgradable items were not displayed in the safehouse workshops after entering the game.
- Fixed a bug where opening the guild window forced player characters to automatically stand up.
- Fixed a bug where accounts that were created a long time ago were not able to login to the game/world as expected.
- Fixed a bug where the daily login reward granted the wrong raw material.
