This update significantly improves the camera system by enhancing collision handling and ensuring smoother camera movements for a more immersive gameplay experience. Additionally, various movement interpolations and performance optimizations have been implemented to provide a more stable and seamless environment.

1. Content

  • Added collision to the garage door next to the hunting shop
  • Added new Legacy Faction Outfit to Legacy NPCs
  • Updated some texts and markers for better guidance during the “Friends in Need” questline
  • Updated “First Aid” quest of “Friends in Need” questline so the survivors need tatters instead of bandages
  • Updated all Trader NPCs to have the correct max stack sizes of the ammunition they sell
  • Updated pathing of several Thatcher, Legacy and Raider NPCs and reduced their numbers a bit in some areas
  • Fixed quest markers on NPCs not showing up properly when those NPCs are dead
  • Fixed Delilah not taking food donations which rendered Reclaiming the Spoils quest impossible to complete
  • Fixed missing return Marker on Heir Hale’s “A New Path Forward” quest
  • Fixed a text in one of Heir Silva’s topics
  • Fixed Multimeter being removed upon completing “Metering About” quest
  • Fixed a ladder at the police station not working properly
  • Fixed some broken text highlighting for Owen Piersley
  • Fixed lootables and harvestables within New Quarter not being correct for the ring they’re in
  • Removed some old text mentioning the old name for Legacy faction
  • Renamed “Skinning Knife” to “Skinning Blade”
  • Renamed “Hunting Knife” to “Outdoor Knife”

2. Balancing

  • Added Painkillers drop to R4 and R5 zombies and NPCs as well
  • Added new electronic junk harvestable which can often be found outside of buildings
  • Added more mining and construction harvestables throughout Ashwater
  • Updated some R2 harvestable trees inside Lower Hill to be R3
  • Updated all harvestables to now open a loot container after harvsting them so the loot isn’t lost when having to abort the looting process
  • Fixed skill “Arouse Attention” not counting towards weapon xp for used weapon type
  • Fixed issue in skills “Turret Deployment” and “Titan Turret” where turrets were unable to hit other objects spawned by skills

3. Safehouse

  • Added hint message when training mission grants bonus
  • Updated wording of the Safehouse’s kitchen room description
  • Fixed manipulation requirements

4. User Interface

  • Added correct icon to be used for the broken backpack item
  • Fixed scaling of skill icons
  • Fixed some journal search highlights being fully opaque
  • Fixed guild quests not showing kill groups properly

5. Further Changes

  • Added Maintenance Mode message when Servers our currently down for an update
  • Added generic Voice Message for items with consume restrictions
  • Added generic Voice Message when consuming already known recipes
  • Updated Loot Filter to ignore Coins and Fuse quest item, meaning they will always be picked up when looting all
  • Updated camera back collision handling in client to smooth out camera movements drastically
  • Fixed sound effect playback for LevelUP and SkillLevelUP not reacting to Volume settings
  • Fixed bug where audio loop feedback was played back when the player entered the safehouse from the world
  • Fixed bug where the audio settings where not applied correctly at client startup
  • Fixed interpolation of movement
  • Fixed issue where weapon knockback could push undead through walls
