This update focuses on balancing gameplay and enhancing user interface elements

The update introduces new elite NPCs and mutant enemies, revamped quest mechanics, updated bunker placements, safehouse mod unlocking changes, improved visuals and animations, and a variety of bug fixes. Balancing adjustments include slower progression in most skill trees (except first aid), increased chances for quality loot, and modified tool durability on death.

1. Content

  • Added NPC Elites that spawn in huntable NPC groups during the day
  • Added Mutant Elites that can now also spawn at night as the usual Elite slot in an outdoor zombie group
  • Added bunker entrance for negative karma characters near temporary Black Hand location
  • Added mechanic for proper fetch quests: Quests that require the player to gather certain junk items allow the player to now gather and deliver any quality (if quality is irrelevant for the quest objective)
  • Updated Fort Erf Zone to now match the newly expanded area
  • Updated some outfits among NPC factions to better recognize Elite enemies
  • Updated position of Legacy’s bunker to be directly beneath Fort Erf
  • Updated multiple Journal entries
  • Fixed floating picture frame
  • Removed Felling Axe
  • Moved Legacy’s bunker to be below Fort Erf and it’s now being protected by strong Legacy Wardens that won’t let any enemies pass
  • All of Legacy’s territory is now huntabel for Thatcher players, with proper ringed enemies, mmore harvestables & lootables
  • Updated some NPC clothing

2. Balancing

  • Decreased progression speed for all skill trees except first aid
  • Increased chance to loot weapon and armor in qualities that fit to the current ring.
  • On death tools that would lose their last durability points will not be destroyed, but keep one durability point instead

3. Safehouse

  • Replaced Safehouse room expansions for unlocking mods in all Workshop rooms. A level no longer grants the ability to unlock the second or third tier of a mod instead it grants the ability to unlock both tiers for items with the corresponding item quality

4. Further Changes

  • Added new animations and removed deprecated animations
  • Added proper error message when client connects to server during playtime constraint
  • Updated Maintenance Mode Screen
  • Updated item visualization to hint mods that require to be unlocked in the Safehouse
  • Updated mod visualization for items when all mods are on hold
  • Updated multiple Animations and removed deprecated ones
  • Updated tooltip for tool (non-repairable)
  • Updated startup loading time for world cells
  • Updated Icons for Debuff, Effects and World
  • Fixed a bug wheren pushing e in chat would interrupt auto-walk
  • Fixed min skill tree level for improvised weapons
  • Fixed drag and dropt item to chat bug
  • Fixed Chat Input resize on different resolutions
  • Fixed recycling of tools yields too many resources
  • Fixed last active cursor not reset on disconnect
