This update focuses on balancing gameplay and enhancing user interface elements

Patchnotes v.0.5.0.141 min read

This update fixes numerous bugs around the game and adds a lot of new animations to the game. 

1. Balancing

  • Common items now require a minimum skill level as well.
  • Increased XP gained from killing crawlers
  • Increased chance of finding fish while fishing
  • Slightly decreased chance of junk drops on all enemies (zombies + NPCs)
  • Decreased spawnchance for crawlers

2. Safehouse

  • Added tooltip for the “Increase quality” improvement in all three workshop rooms showing the current and improved item values.
  • Increased the raw material costs for many tasks in the Safehouse.
  • Increased the raw material costs for crafting weapons, armor and tools.
  • Poor weapons and poor armor are now craftable. From now on, crafting common equipment requires building the corresponding expansion.

3. Content

  • Added a few new electronic, wooden and stone junk items to most zombies and enemies
  • Added more pathways and another entrace to the ruin mines area (submerged entrance)

4. Further Changes

  • Added a feature for Loot All that destroys chunk items below minimum quality threshold.
  • Added a feature that highlights the current quest tracker when it’s marker is the close to the compass middle.
  • Added new animations and removed deprecated animations. Hint: Currently some animations are for Harvesting are incorrect.
  • Added icon to item tooltip for unknown crafting
  • Added auto loot for all harvestables
  • Added new water volumes behind bridge damn and raised them a bit
  • Fixed Despawning of harvestables loot bags
  • Fixed tool usage priority
  • Fixed volume settings sometimes changed the wrong mixer settings
  • Fixed a bug where crosshair was shown while dead
  • Updated ranking dialog
  • Updated Bear, Boar and Wolf Meat to look more different
  • Exchanged old Banshee Model in a few unique homes
