Patchnotes v.0.4.1.6 – Bug Fixes and Balancing3 min read

Today’s update focuses on fixing several bugs.

Added

  • Added adjustable movement direction while jumping
  • Added Weapon Repair Kit and Armor Repair Kit
  • Added controls overlay for first character
  • Added placement preview indicators to all skills that spawn objects (e.g. Turrets, Mines)
  • Added indicator near player level for possible survival tree or skill upgrades
  • Added vfx for muzzleflash and overheat to turrets
  • Added sfx for spawning/despawning skill-objects
  • Added sfx for entering/exiting turrets

Updated

  • Updated shield colors for skill “All Armored Up” from blue to gray
  • Updated names of Simple Fishing Rod, Simple Pickaxe and Simple Shovel to Fishing Rod, Pickaxe and Shovel
  • Updated all Trade NPCs to now only sell ammunition and skill items, no more weapons or tools
  • Updated small skill-objects like mines or distracting robot to no longer collide with characters to prevent unwanted movement hinderance and physics interactions
  • Updated the way junk items work
  • Updated loot tables to reflect new junk item system and thematic distribution
  • Updated commodities category and moved most commodities to junk
  • Updated NPC repair cost
  • Updated durability loss of equipped items
  • Updated Guild Party XP bonus
  • Updated zombie refresh rate: zombies walking parallel to the player can be hit better now
  • Updated swimming mechanics

Fixed

  • Fixed tooltip for consumables
  • Fixed height of a subobject in a defensive status vfx
  • Fixed items from vending machines and other sources not being merged into existing stacks
  • Fixed bug where characters were sliding down on gentle inclines
  • Fixed bug where squad names longer than 15 characters could not be invited to guilds
  • Fixed bug in world renderer where lowest reflection graphic option caused artifacts on reflection probes for other render passes
  • Fixed bug in world renderer where reflection probes did not contain enough mipmap levels for lowest quality reflections
  • Fixed bug in several non-weapon skills which incorrectly used ammo on activation while wielding a firearm
  • Fixed bug in left hand ik handler where ik was not detached correctly during certain harvest operations
  • Fixed bug where general tab was showing outdated information when switching to it
  • Fixed bug where sfx for surveillance sentry detection notification was broadcasted to everyone nearby

Removed

  • Removed possibility to recycle or sell equipped items (except ammo). They have to be unequipped first now
  • Removed possibility to recycle quest items
  • Removed repair function from many NPCs except a couple of special ones (eg. Charlie Hobson in Junction)

Balancing

  • Balancing: Increased minimum cooldown of turrets to 90s/180s
  • Balancing: Increased accuracy while aiming with high-zoom weapons (up to 30% for scoped sniper rifles)
  • Balancing: Reduced taunt range of skill “Distracting Robot” from 30m to 10m and prevented pulling enemies from above or below
  • Balancing: Reduced heat cooldown threshold of turrets from 80% to 20%
  • Balancing: Reduced volume of turret shots by 20%
  • Balancing: Updated cooldowns for skills that apply status effects to start after the effect ends (instead of starting immediately)
  • Balancing: Updated Skills “Heart Shots” and “Ruffian’s Rage” so they can now be used while operating turrets
  • Balancing: Fixed skill “Sharpen Edge” to not apply while using turrets
  • Balancing: Removed minimum spread for all weapons (weapons can now achieve pinpoint-accuracy with some help from perks/mods/skills)
