Changes for the Playtest. New Features, Bugfixes and animations. 

1. Balancing

  • Increased skill progress speed for weapons and armor for the first 5 skill levels.
  • Reduced Karma loss for PvP kills.

2. Content

  • Added some new information regarding difficulty ratings and enemies to the journal.
  • Added 3 new quests for fresh players starting out.
  • Added final asset for Apron equipment.
  • Added Icons for Wastelander equipment set.
  • Added Spitter Mutant.
  • Updated a few (tower) buildings: Opened up several stairways and hallways and removed or moved some rubble or walls for a generally better hunting experience due to more openness.
  • Updated some tooltip text on a few botany harvestables.
  • Updated the spawn behavior of some monster homes due to some invalid blocking settings.
  • Updated Harvestables and Lootables to have their correct animations hooked which will be updated over time.
  • Updated all relevant quests to use a character level gate to match the new difficulty rating: Be sure to check in with NPCs as your character levels up to see if they have new quests available!
  • Fixed vfx of skill “Ruffian’s Rage” to no longer obstruct visibility when aiming.
  • Fixed some glitches when wearing certain equipment pieces.
  • Removed outdated hospital building as that area will be reworked completely

3. Further Changes

  • Added nameplates for players and enemies.
  • Added special symbols in nameplates for Guards and Elite enemies.
  • Added visual difficulty rating for quests in NPC dialogs, quest log and HUD: Players can now assess a quest’s/questline’s general difficulty before accepting it.
  • Added new animations (ongoing process).
  • Updated highlighted compass symbol for active quests.
  • Updated Journal entries.
  • Fixed fullscreen resolution switching on scene changes.
  • Fixed compass quest highlight after returning a quest.
  • Fixed an issue where NPCs would shoot at an invisible object and not react anymore.
  • Fixed bug where Fishing rod was not equipped properly.
  • Fixed a bug where the E button did not close an open Dialog.
  • Fixed a bug where music was still playing while the Story video was playing.
  • Fixed a bug in character creation where character played a wrong animation when switching the gender.
