Patchnotes v.0.4.0.8 – Bug Fixes and Animal Enemies2 min read

Today’s update focuses on fixing bugs and reintroducing our boar and wolf enemies to the world.

We have fixed the bugs in the weapon zoom where the weapons pointed in the wrong direction, and the deviation angle calculation did not properly consider the weapon’s zoom. As a result, weapons with zoom are now more precise, and shooting feels more realistic.

  • Added boar enemy types back to client project
  • Added wolf enemy types back to client project
  • Added icon and tooltip for item quest rewards
  • Added icon for protected enemies
  • Added new quest markers (area marker, highlighting + ways to show if player is above or below certain quest objectives)

Updated

  • Updated name of “Avocado Juice” to “Vegetable Juice” (previous instances will be removed from inventories and storages inGame)
  • Updated camera exposure values for better weight between lit and dark areas
  • Updated shading properties of vehicle glass material to improve reflections

Fixed

  • Fixed bug in startup screen where credits button had wrong anchor point
  • Fixed bug in credits scene where bmwk logo had wrong anchor point
  • Fixed bug where sfx triggers where missing in certain animations
  • Fixed bug in ranking
  • Fixed placement of combat texts for crawler zombies
  • Fixed bug causing item tooltips to stay on screen when leaving trade or auctions
  • Fixed bug where FX ‘Impact Electric’ was not properly destroyed after playback has finished
  • Fixed bug where duration of skill ‘Hazard Aversion’ was too low
  • Fixed bug where skills were usable during the reload of a firearm

Balancing

  • Adjusted attack and movement range of runners so they hit the player more reliably
  • Increased loot chance for weapons and gear across all enemies
  • Increased noise of pistols
  • Reduced noise of all rifles and machine guns
  • Reduced spawn time of enemies in the world significantly
